In Arunachal Pradesh, the Lok Sabha elections took place on April 19 in a single phase to choose two representatives for the 18th Lok Sabha. At the same time, the state also held its Legislative Assembly elections. The BJP put forward Union Minister Kiren Rijiju for Arunachal West and Tapir Gao for Arunachal East. Meanwhile, the Congress selected Nabam Tuki for Arunachal West and Bosiram Siram for Arunachal East.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP secured both seats in Arunachal Pradesh, achieving almost 59% of the vote share.
