National Conference and Annual Session 2015 “Building India

The India of Transformations and Transitions has gained momentum over the last year as growth forces have consolidated and gathered pace. Even as economic conditions in the rest of the world remain fragile and unpredictable, India continues to be a beacon of high aspirations and manifold opportunities. The challenge for the nation is how to leverage this historical moment of opportunity to trigger all-encompassing virtuous cycle of growth and development and at the same time, generate the necessary avenues of livelihood for its expanding young workforce.

With the view to address the opportunities and issues in key areas like infrastructure, energy, education, skill development, Manufacturing, digital inclusion, urbanization via smart cities, Ease of Doing Business and others,which are imperative for the transformation and development / building of the nation, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is pleased to announce itsAnnual Session & National Conference on 6 & 7 April 2015 at New Delhi.

The theme for this year’s National Conference is Building India: A Shared Responsibility”.

The National Conference would be inaugurated by Mr. Arun Jaitley, Hon’ble Minister of Finance, Corporate Affairs and Information & Broadcasting, Government of India.

This being the first Annual session of CII post the taking over of the new Government at the Centre, will be the largest congregation of Ministers, political leaders, policy makers, strategic thinkers, industry leaders and media in the country. Over 1000 leaders from industry and other fields are expected to attend this important event.
