The Rashtriya Janata Dal released its National Election Manifesto titled “Pratibadhata Patra”

Manifesto is released by Party leader Tejashwi Yadav with Manoj Jha and state RJD chief Ram Chandra Purvey at party headquarter in Patna today.

“The RJD also agrees with the manifesto released by the Congress party”, said Tejashwi Yadav.

The RJD manifesto said that it “favours reservation for weaker section of the upper caste”.

“The reservation to extremely backwards, dalits, backwards and scheduled castes should be given in proportion of their population”, said the leaders.

‘Food in every plate, pen in every hand’

“Ways to improve employment and that people of the state should not have to migrate in search of livelihood too would be explored”, said the manifesto with several other welfare measures for the minorities and poor people who have been left behind from the mainstream development.

“There should be an effort for a provision for amendment in constitution for reservation in government services”, said the RJD manifesto. The party would also work for reservation in private sector, it added. The RJD manifesto also stated that if the party would win election “toddy will be tax free”.
